Beautifully carved, this pair of antique Chinese wood carvings feature facing Foo Lions or Foo Dogs more in the southern Chinese fashion. Each temple carving is a thick piece of cedarthat is thickly tapered which indicates they were most likely high up on the wall near or at the ceiling & angled downward for more impact on the viewer. Measuring 19" wide x 12" high; tapering from 2" thick at the front to 5.5" at the back of the carving. Wonderful, detailed, thick carvings! Sold separately.
