A beautifully detailed entrance that once graced the Monroe St. entrance to the Bostwick Braun Building designed by famed architect George Mills in Toledo OH. These photos are from the Library of Congress and show the entrance filled in with windows after a more modern entrance was added at a later date on Summit St. We removed this red terra cotta entrance when the building was demolished in 1995. It has never been offered for sale until now. The full set up stands approximately 15ft high x 12ft wide x 12-15" thick. The surround is made up of individual segmented pieces. All are red terra cotta. The brackets are 16"w x 32" h to give some scale. This lovely classically styled surround would create a fabulous entry into a building or a park. A great opportunity to reuse a rare entrance like this from a pretty cool building.
Please note: the image showing the full surround in color was a digitally manipulated to add the color. The shots showing the individual pieces are shown in original color. Shipping available. Please contact us with any questions.
